SNEAKER FAMILY

Every shoe has a follow-up, but if you have a GREAT SHOE they give you an entire FAMILY....Up above are really just some examples......The first picture are the Foamposites....They are actually more colors and other types of Posites but I really feel that picture gives this post its name....A mixture of Foamposites and Foampite Lites.......The second picture is a salute to Ken Griffey Jr......Being as that he is retiring this year NIKE is giving him a great farewell to Cooperstown......If you don't know baseball that is the Hall Of Fame........ The third picture a family of Diamond Turfs (Deion's)......A classic retro, if you read my last post you already which one I'm waiting on.......Last but not least is the GRANDDADDY of all SHOE FAMILIES.......JORDAN'S..........I don't even need to talk about because you should already know........I really wanted to add a couple of more photos but I couldn't find the pictures for them....so just stay tuned for SNEAKER FAMILY PT. With all the hype around the Diamond Turf (Above) people have forgotten about the Diamond Turf II's (Below) that NIKE has yet to re-release.........The original Diamond Turf's just dropped in stores this past weekend.......I'm going to sit and wait for the Diamond Turf's, hopefully Nike doesn't have me waiting too long.......

For The Love of the Game Olympic 7's

The last time these were released was in 2003.....They are definitely on my "TOP 5".....Rumors of them coming back soon, not sure exactly when, but they will be back....Alot of you may remember when Fat Joe did his famous "DEADSTOCK LICK" on MTV Cribs.........lol I have deadstocks but I'm not licking them....lmao Just be ready for this release....

InfraRed VS. VarsityRed THE HYPE!!!!

Which would you rather? For me it's easy I would get both.....People would look at you crazy for by both because they are similar but I look at like this, they are like twins.....The same in every way except fingerprints..........The 2 colors are just fingerprints therefore they are very different.....Yeah I think it was crazy that JB decided to drop the InfraRed Pack a week apart from the White/VarsityRed but it wouldn't JB if they didn't do things to shake up this "SNEAKER LIFE" we live in....Many sneaker sites have put up videos comparing the shoes showing the colors and comparing them from their 1st releases.......But they never really talked about how the feel and that is where the HYPE came from.......Everyone saw the videos and were jus stuck on the pack disregarded the fact of the love for the sneakers.......Hope u enjoy.....Especially if you bought both.......

Release Dates 9's

Not really sure what is going on wit these release dates but I must tell you its kind of messing me up......The first picture is a must cop.....If ever there is an ORIGINAL COLORWAY it is a must cop.....The way they have been releasing shoes these day the only thing original about them is the colorway.......What people will do for the original she in its entirity is crazy, to see the original NIKE symbol on a pair of old Jordans blows people minds.......The original colorway is set to drop on August 7th.......As for the second they actually reversed an orginal colorway as a joke to see what it would like but what is even more of a joke to me is that they drop on WEDNESDAY, August 11th if you want the exact date.....I don't know the purpose or even the significance....all I have to say is I gotta get my money right.........

New 2's Droppin

Don't have to worry about 3 or 4 pair retros droppin this month........this is the only ones dropping for the month of July..............July 31st to be exact.........

Cool Grey 11's Release Info

The past 2 X-mas' have been owned by the 11's so what do they do for us for 2010.....they give us what we have been wanting since 2001.............COOL GREY 11's the price tag is set at $175.....So make sure you are ready for December 23rd.........

Barkley's

People don't realize that they have a chain of command when it comes to basketball sneakers.......It goes as follows Jordans, Foamposites, BARKLEYS, Pippens and then all the other crap Nike decides to drop.......It was like that for years until Lebron made a decent shoe....LOL but thats not what this is about.......Every design and colorway has been an instant success for "Sir Charles"......A few months ago he dropped the Air CB34.....sold out......so they restocked everywhere and sold out again........Which brings me to his new release which will be in House of Hoops before the summer is out.........I'll let you be the judge......definitely get a thumbs up in my book......

Past Classic to Future Classics

One of the most talked about shoe in history has to be the Air Max 95..... They have so many variations of Air Max but this one style always sticks out like a sore thumb....Also this one particular colorway has become a classic as well.....Nike has the tendacy that if a colorway does well they take the chance and drop it in other shoes all they do is change name of color........Smart on their part.........Next to Jordan this shoe flys off the shelves in shoe stores......They have re-released at least 3 times within the past year......Each time stores sell out....It has gotten so bad managers don't have time to pull their size out......lol Going to the new school Air Max, they call it the "24-7"........now much to be said about the shoe but that its stylish and gives you the 95 feel almost.....You know nothing is ever like the original.......It's not a bad thing because its actually lighter than the 95 and they feel great on your feet.....Yeah I have a pair.......lol Don't let the price stop you if you had intentions on buying them, its definitely worth it..........

FUSIONS?????

I have never been the biggest Air Force 1 fan and when I heard that Jordan would be teaming up with them to make a shoe my thoughts were already made up "How is this going to work?" When they first started out it really wasn't that bad, the 12 fusions grew on me....but they were not worth buying.........YES I SAID IT NOT WORTH BUYING.......LOL......I'm not paying $140 for a regular pair of Air Force 1's.......They have no affect like any real Jordan that is out.......and they bend like regular Air Forces........People look at them and always say these already came out.....silly rabbits can't really tell the difference.........If you have worked at a shoe store you know what I'm talking about.......It's crazy because Nike actually had a couple of Jordan Inspired Dunks.....I thought that was a great idea and the price of them were like $90....very reasonable.....As they got deeper into making fusions it got a whole lot worse.....A guy tried to insist that he is a sneakerhead.....I had 2 laugh because every picture he showed in his phone were fusions........Sneakerheads know what to buy.......I CAN'T STRESS THAT ENOUGH.....Not every shoe that Jordan produces is hot........No disrespect to JB but FUSIONS ARE A ROAD THAT SHOULDN'T HAVE NEVER BEEN TRAVELLED........I don't want to discourage anyone from buying what they like........This is only my opinion..........Some may agree, some may not........
